Pedalling The Parks

During National Parks Fortnight, our fund-raising hero Lorna Fisher is taking on an epic challenge to raise money for our new Foundation. She is going to attempt to cycle 1,600 miles around the UK on a route that visits all 15 UK National Parks.

Pedalling the Parks

Building a Foundation for our National Park with #70kfor70

This year is the 70th anniversary of the Act of Parliament that led to the Peak District becoming the UK’s first National Park. We want to keep the spirit of access and enjoyment of our National Parks going into the future. So with your help we’re raising £70,000 to mark this milestone. £70,000 will:

  • Restore damaged moorland and protect habitats
  • Look after important cultural heritage
  • Help people access the National Park

Our operating costs are secured for three years, so every penny you give goes to delivering much-needed projects within your National Park.
